I loved my time at Greenhaus and can’t wait to return for another treatment. I received a full body massage which was very relaxing and lasted one hour. It was well worth the price! I was greeted with a refreshing glass of ice water afterward, which was a nice touch. The entire staff really took care of me from the moment I walked in; they were all attentive to my needs and friendly. The spa was clean and decorated cute. Lemon water, tea, cookies and chocolate were in the front waiting room. If you’re going to Napa for the day, you must book a treatment at Greenhaus!

My husband and I were in Napa celebrating my birthday and I wanted us to get a massage while we were there.  I did quite a bit of research on Yelp before booking the appointments.  Came across Greenhaus Day Spa and read about 20 reviews, which 98% were between 4-5 stars.

When we arrived and we were greeted by a super sweet lady, she asked our names and had a full out a short form.  We waited for no more 5 min, then the 2 girls  walked out and introduced themselves.  Elina was my massage therapist, she does Swedish massage and my husband’s  got Alexis, she does deep tissue massage.  Both very nice and made us feel very welcomed and comfortable.  All I can is “ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE”!

We are from the Bay Area, my husband and I both agree that we would drive up to Napa just to get another massage.   Well worth the hour drive.   Best massage we have ever had.  Thanks girls!!!

Just came from an amazing 75 minutes facial with Victoria! Very professional, sweet, very calm ora and knows her skill well.  Can’t wait to see the results from today’s session!  I will definitely be coming back to see her in 6 weeks for another facial treatment! !  The mini massage in between the facial was just a taste of what I can be expecting even more for my Swedish massage that I’ve booked for next week!  Can not wait!!

Thanks again Victoria!  Your a sweet lady!

If you’re looking for a relaxing treat, go see Eliana for a massage!

Amazing, custom massage. I had a 75 minute Swedish/Hot Stone combo massage that was out of this world. I can’t tell you the last time I have felt this relaxed. She’s wonderful!

My only comment is, I think they should provide an eye mask for when clients are on their back. But otherwise, a big win, especially for a day spa. It’s not a robe and tea type of environment. But amazing massage, very nice people working there and at reception, and affordable!

Just had one of the best Swedish massage and facial of my life!
I highly recommend this day spa. My friend and I booked a facial and massage and felt that the quality of both far exceeded my expectations! I will definitely return and specifically request Stephanie for my facial and the same lady (sorry I forgot her name) for my massage. Outstanding services!!!

We hope you enjoyed a safe and happy New Year’s Eve and we hope you’re ready for the New Year to begin!

So here we come 2017 and goodbye to the crazy year of 2016!!

Keeping the Heart Healthy

Heart health has become a focus for many Americans. Often, our busy yet sedentary lifestyles do not allow for us to take the necessary steps to ensure a healthy heart. But heart health is not something to be brushed aside. According to the Centers for Disease Control, heart disease is the leading cause of death for both men and women in the United States – accounting for one in every four deaths. According to Harvard Health, as many as 10 percent of heart attacks occur before age 45. It’s never too early to start taking care of your heart. Here are a few things you can do to help encourage heart health:

Sleep. When it comes to maintaining good health or recovering from an illness, there is no substitute for sleep. According to the Gaples Institute for Integrative Cardiology, a review of a half a million people showed a 50 percent higher risk of developing or dying from heart disease when sleep dropped to five to six hours a night compared to seven or eight.

Avoid tobacco products. Cigarettes and tobacco products can greatly increase the risk of heart disease and stroke. Right now is the best time to stop smoking. It does not matter how long or how much you have smoked, the minute you quit smoking, the lungs and heart can begin to heal themselves.

Stay regularly active. Doing as little as 30 minutes of moderate exercise a day can help reduce blood pressure greatly. Without regular exercise, high blood pressure can increase, causing arteries to fill with plaque, which can lead to blood clots, resulting in a stroke or heart attack. If prehypertension (marginally high blood pressure) is already in the body, doing exercises such as swimming, jogging or walking can reduce the risk of hypertension, according to a Mayo Clinic study.

Eat well. Several Americans are constantly threatened by weight gain because of the prevalence of cheap, easy and high calorie foods. But as body weight increases, so does the risk of heart attack, stroke and high blood pressure. Therefore, it is important to choose to eat foods that are nutrient rich and not just high in calories. An increase in body weight can also cause sleep apnea, which can lead to poor heart health.

Get a massage. Getting a massage regularly is an efficient and therapeutic way to keep high blood pressure at bay, lower anxiety and stress, and help you sleep well – all of which can contribute to a healthy heart. Massage also encourages good circulation, improves posture and alignment and strengthens the immune system. A massage also is relaxing and feels great, both of which important for a healthy heart.
